Personal data

Privacy

How Formax handles your data when you use formax.nc — in plain language, without unnecessary jargon.

Who is responsible?

The data controller is Formax (SARL), BP 18 350, 98857 Nouméa Cedex — [email protected].

The Data Protection Officer (DPO) / privacy contact is Léandre Vigouroux. To exercise your rights, write to [email protected].

What data, and why?

When you use the contact form, Formax receives the information you enter (for example name, email, message, and where relevant your profile or need) only so we can get back to you and answer your request.

Legal basis: Formax’s legitimate interest in responding to contact and training enquiries (pre-contractual contact).

Before you send, a checkbox asks you to agree that this information is emailed to Formax so they can contact you. Without that agreement, the message is not sent.

Nothing stored on the site

No form data is saved in a database on the site. The message is forwarded by email to Formax. If sending fails, the request may be lost: that is a deliberate choice to limit data kept online.

Who receives your data?

Only Formax (business email inbox). It is not sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

How long?

Emails received via the form are kept for 1 year from the date they were sent, then deleted or archived according to legitimate follow-up needs for sales / training, unless a legal obligation requires otherwise.

Cookies and audience measurement

For now, no statistics or analytics tool (such as Google Analytics) is used on formax.nc. No cookie banner is therefore shown for that purpose.

Cookies or technical processing may be needed for the site to work, for security (for example via the network infrastructure) or for WordPress. They are not used to profile you for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you — including deletion of the contact email you sent via the form — by writing to [email protected].

You may also object to processing or ask for a restriction, under the conditions set by applicable regulations.

Security

Formax and its technical providers take reasonable measures to protect exchanges (secure connection to the site, professional hosting). No system is foolproof: avoid sending highly sensitive information through the form if another channel is more appropriate.
